TerakoyaCloud Practice Log (“TCPL”, “we”, “our”, or “the Service”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use TCPL.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Username
  • Profile image (if uploaded)
  • Login authentication data

1.2 User-Generated Content

When using TCPL, you may provide:

  • Practice logs

  • Uploaded images or videos

4. Data Storage & Security

TCPL is currently a prototype platform.

We take reasonable measures to protect user data, but:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • Backups may not be guaranteed.
  • Data loss may occur.

Users are encouraged to keep independent copies of important content.

5. Account Deletion & Anonymization

Users may delete their accounts at any time through their account settings.

Upon deletion:

  • The user account will be permanently removed.
  • Email address and directly identifying personal information will be deleted from active records.
  • Profile images will be removed.
  • Personal metadata identifying the user will be deleted or anonymized.

However:

  • Practice logs, feedback comments, and other contributions may remain on the platform in anonymized form.
  • The display name may be replaced with a neutral identifier such as “Former Member.”
  • Content will no longer be associated with personally identifiable information.

This retention of anonymized content is consistent with the license granted under the Terms of Service.

6. Legal Basis (For International Users)

For users in jurisdictions that require a legal basis for data processing (e.g., GDPR), TCPL processes personal data based on:

  • User consent
  • Performance of a contract (providing the Service)
  • Legitimate interest (maintaining platform integrity and security)

Users may request access to or correction of their personal data, subject to technical and legal limitations.

7. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to:

  • Operate the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Maintain platform integrity

Anonymized data may be retained indefinitely as part of the community archive.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

TCPL is not specifically directed at children under the age required by applicable law.
