Welcome to TerakoyaCloud Practice Log (“TCPL”, “we”, “our”, or “the Service”).
By accessing or using TCPL, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Nature of the Service (Prototype Notice)
TCPL is currently provided as a prototype / MVP (Minimum Viable Product).
The Service may change, evolve, or discontinue at any time.
Features may be added, removed, or modified without prior notice.
We do not guarantee stability, data permanence, or uninterrupted availability.
You acknowledge that you are using a developing platform.
2. Purpose of TCPL
TCPL is a practice-sharing platform designed to:
- Log musical practice
- Share goals and progress
- Request feedback via invitation
- Build a supportive learning community
TCPL is not a competitive ranking platform and is not designed to promote harassment, shaming, or comparison-based pressure.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Be responsible for activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of:
- Your practice logs
- Your written notes
- Your uploaded media
- Your feedback comments
By posting content on TCPL, you grant TCPL a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service according to your selected visibility settings.
This license allows TCPL to:
- Maintain and display your content within the platform
- Preserve anonymized content after account deletion (as described in Section 12)
You are solely responsible for the content you post.
5. Media and External Links
If you submit:
- YouTube links
- Instagram links
- Uploaded images or videos
You represent that:
- You have the right to share the content
- The content does not infringe copyright
- The content complies with applicable laws
TCPL is not responsible for third-party platforms or their policies.
6. Visibility Settings
TCPL allows users to select content visibility options such as:
- Public
- Members only
- Private
- Invitation-based access
While we implement reasonable access controls, we cannot guarantee absolute privacy or security.
Users should exercise judgment when sharing sensitive material.
7. Invitation & Feedback System
TCPL provides:
- Direct Invitations
- Open Invitations (feedback requests)
By inviting or applying to give feedback:
You agree to engage respectfully.
Feedback must not contain harassment, abuse, discrimination, or personal attacks.
We reserve the right to remove feedback or revoke access if conduct violates community standards.
8. Community Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass or intimidate other users
- Post defamatory, illegal, or infringing material
- Attempt to access private content without permission
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
TCPL is designed as a respectful learning environment.
Behavior that undermines this purpose may result in account suspension.
9. No Professional Guarantee
TCPL does not guarantee:
- Skill improvement
- Professional results
- Educational certification
All feedback and interactions are community-based and informal.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
TCPL is provided “as is”.
We are not liable for loss of data, reputational damage, or indirect damages.
Users assume responsibility for their use of the platform.
11. Data & Availability
As a prototype:
- Data loss may occur.
- Backups are not guaranteed.
- The Service may experience downtime.
You are encouraged to keep independent copies of important content.
12. Account Deletion & Anonymization
Users may request deletion of their account at any time through the Service settings.
Upon account deletion:
- The user account will be permanently removed.
- Email address and personal identifying information associated with the account will be deleted from active records.
- Uploaded profile images will be removed.
- Personal metadata directly identifying the user will be deleted or anonymized.
However:
- Practice logs, feedback comments, and other contributions may remain on the platform in anonymized form.
- The display name may be replaced with a neutral identifier such as “Former Member”.
- Content will no longer be associated with personally identifiable information.
By using TCPL, you acknowledge and agree that anonymized contributions may remain as part of the community archive, consistent with the license granted in Section 4.
Where required by applicable law, users may request further data removal, subject to technical feasibility and legal obligations.
13. Termination by TCPL
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- These Terms are violated
- The platform is discontinued
- Legal compliance requires action
14. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated as TCPL evolves.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan, unless otherwise required by applicable international regulations.
